Kent James Collins is a freelance performer and stage manager primarily based out of the Central Florida area. He holds a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Dance from the University of Central Florida and is a member of Actors' Equity Association. 

As a performer, Kent has worked for companies such as Universal Orlando Resort and Warner Brothers. In 2017, his performance in Theatre UCF's production of Of Thee I Sing garnered him a Best Actor in a Musical nomination by the Orlando Sentinel. 

As a stage manager, he has worked on numerous productions in a variety of venues, from four-person straight plays in regional theatres, to outdoor pyrotechnics shows in theme parks, and even musicals on a moving train!

In addition, Kent has served as a director, lighting designer, fight choreographer, puppeteer, and makeup designer. He is also the creator of the viral Overdone Musical Theatre Medley. He is passionate about arts education in public schools, and has taught workshops, adjudicated for theatre competitions, and assisted in with many youth and high school productions.

Outside of theatre, Kent is an avid escape room enthusiast, having escaped over 70 rooms throughout the southeastern United States. He is a part-time game master with The Escape Company, where he designed and built their most lucrative pop-up escape room in company history: The Night Before Christmas. He also enjoys baking, and even baked his aunt's wedding cake in June 2017!
